Sign in with your email and password. GFC then sends a 6-digit verification code to your email; type it on the next page. The code is valid for 1 minute only.

Look in the Spam folder: the mail comes from GFC <no.reply.gfc.np@gmail.com>. If the minute has passed, press Resend Code on the same page and use the newest mail.

Uploading a file and pressing Check my data do not use credits: the credits of a tool are taken when you press the button that makes the report. If a report fails before you receive it, the credits are given back automatically.

Yes, you can ask for access. On the Services page click the Paid tool, write in a few words why you need it and send. The GFC team reads the request and can give you access (for a number of uses or for some time).

Your balance is lower than the price of the tool. Buy credits (see above) or ask for access on the Services page. Your file and settings are not lost: after you have credits, press the button again.

Excel (.xlsx, .xls) or CSV, one row for each tree (or sample, or point). On the page of the tool press Download the draft format: it gives a small Excel file in exactly the layout the tool reads, with a README sheet that explains every column. Keep the header row, delete the sample rows and paste your own data.

View Columns reads your file and shows which column was taken for which field; correct it if it is wrong. Check my data lists exactly which rows have a missing or impossible value, so that you can fix them in the form or in your file before the report is made. Your original file is never changed.

After you choose the file, a drop-down lets you pick the sheet that holds the data.

The Excel is usually ready at once. The Word report and the maps are made in the background and need about a minute; the page tells you when they are ready, you do not have to reload it.

Everything you made is on your Dashboard. The ⋮ menu of a job lets you download it, edit it and run again (for the tools that allow it), make a Share link (a link that works for a limited time and that you can switch off) or delete it. A deleted job goes to the Recycle Bin in Settings and stays there for 7 days; you can restore it before that. Download the files you need soon after they are ready and keep your own copy.

The page shows a plain message and a reference (E- and numbers). Send us the reference from the Contact page: it lets us find the exact reason in our records. The credits of a job that failed are given back automatically.

Use the draft format of the tool and press Check my data: it names the rows and the reason (for example a girth that is far too large). Very big files may be refused or take longer; the page says so. If you are still stuck, write to us from the Contact page and attach your file.
